I started VA Savvy Services in 2015. My children entered their tween years and I wanted to transition back into the professional environment. It was and is still a great priviledge to be mother and homeschool mother at that. But it’s just a season.

My career in the professional environment started over 25 years ago at PriceWaterhouseCoopers as an article clerk under an SAICA learnership contract. In the ‘small’ branches of these great international corporations, you learn, as an undergraduate student, everything and then some. You’re the cheapest labour in the office and get to learn the grunt work in a professional environment.

Grunt work has taught me how to support businesses of all sizes and in all industries with so much more than their compliance and bookkeeping responsibilities. And what better way to learn than be presented with the problem and finding the solution or path forward in real time?

While educating and raising my children, I’ve been privileged enough to help bring calm to companies and businesses, and I can do the same for you.

My objective when working with my clients is to free up mental space, creativity, focus and time to focus on running and growing their businesses. Instead of being buried in tasks, I am able to come next to you and take it off your hands.

Clear communication, consistent delivery, and well-defined boundaries enable me to be a remote partner that’s as good as an on-location partner. I step in as dependable business and admin support, not an all-purpose fixer, and I work best with clients who value professionalism, organisation, and long-term collaboration.
